How this USAF fitness calculator works
The calculator uses the regular USAF Physical Fitness Readiness Assessment scoring charts effective March 1, 2026. It scores waist-to-height ratio out of 20 points, upper-body strength out of 15 points, core endurance out of 15 points, and cardio out of 50 points.
What components are included
Upper-body choices include push-ups and hand release push-ups. Core choices include sit-ups, cross-leg reverse crunches, and forearm plank. Cardio choices include the 2-mile run and 20-meter HAMR. The 2 km walk chart is listed separately because it is a maximum-time reference rather than a normal point table in this calculator.
Why this is an estimate
Official fitness assessment rules can include administrative details that a calculator cannot fully model, such as medical exemptions, profile rules, retest timing, component eligibility, and local unit processes. Use this calculator for planning and double-check final requirements with official USAF guidance.
USAF fitness calculator FAQ
Does this replace my unit score sheet? No. This is an unofficial planning tool.
What does the star on some standards mean? The PDF marks some minimum values with an asterisk. This calculator preserves those values as the lowest scoring threshold for that component.
