How the Chimp Memory Test works
The game places numbered tiles on a grid. Study where the numbers are, then click or tap them in ascending order. After you click 1, the remaining numbers turn into blank tiles, so the round becomes a memory challenge instead of a visual search.
What the levels mean
The level is the number of tile positions you need to remember. Level 4 means four numbered tiles. Clear the round and the next level adds another number. Higher levels also use a larger board so the positions are more spread out.
How to play fairly
Use the same device and screen size when comparing scores. A large desktop monitor, laptop trackpad, and phone screen can feel very different. This version is meant for quick replayable fun, not clinical memory measurement.
Memory tips
Try grouping tiles into small patterns instead of memorizing each square separately. Some players remember a path, such as top-left to center to bottom-right, while others remember clusters by row or corner.
Privacy note
The game runs in your browser. Your best level is saved locally on your device so it can appear the next time you play. Utility Stack does not need an account or upload your game board to a server.
